Assessment
In recent years there has been a shift in schools from paper-and-pencil student assessments to increased use of digital technologies. On-line student assessments offer new types of active, intensive, and reflective learning opportunities for children that can improve their comprehension in ways traditional teacher-based instruction may not. However, teaching through technology also presents new knowledge requirements and logistical issues teachers must be prepared to address. Below is a listing of CPRE research that examines the advantages and disadvantages of incorporating technology into classrooms and utilizing the data produced.
