The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), an agency within the Ministry of Education of Thailand, is responsible for setting and supporting standards for mathematics and science education for the nation. IPST is conducting an external review of its current standards for mathematics and science in preparation for revising them and has requested that the Kenan Institute Asia (K.I.Asia) and the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) of Teachers College, Columbia recruit experts to conduct this review and support standards writing teams recruited by IPST as they undertake the revision of the standards based on the review.
