The Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) is a team of talented analysts from major research universities who employ diverse and innovative methods.  CPRE has earned an international reputation for integrity, quality research and evaluation, policy design, training and technical assistance, and knowledge dissemination.

CPRE seeks to improve elementary and secondary education by bridging the gap between educational policy and student learning.

Mission

CPRE makes our research on testing and accountability, standards-based reform, instructional improvement, data use, leadership, professional development and teacher quality accessible to educators, administrators, researchers and policymakers in order to contribute new knowledge that will inform important problems of education policy.
